Company
Built by engineers who wanted a reviewer they could trust.
Forseti is made by UnknwnAI, a software company in the UK. We build business software for companies that run on it every day, and we built Forseti for the same reason we build everything: our own work needed it.
Forseti · the Norse god of justice, who settles disputes so both sides leave satisfied
Why Forseti
Every pull request is a small dispute.
The author says the change is ready. The codebase has opinions. A good reviewer hears both and settles it before merge. That is the job we named Forseti after.
The AI reviewers we tried kept failing in the same three ways: bills we could not predict, comments we learned to ignore, and reviews that were quietly skipped when a limit was hit. Each one erodes trust, and a reviewer nobody trusts is just noise in the pull request.
So Forseti is built the other way round. It tells you the price first. It lets you choose how hard each path is read. It posts only what survives a second look. It remembers what your team dismisses. And when it does less than you asked for, it says so.
The dot on the i in our name is a keystone: the stone at the head of an arch, where two sides meet and are locked together. That is the job of a review.
How we work
Six rules we build to.
The price comes first
Nobody should learn what a review cost from an invoice. The estimate is on the PR before a model is called.
Silence is a bug
A review that was skipped, capped or degraded says so on the PR. Never quietly less.
Proof over opinion
A finding has to cite the code, describe a failure and offer a fix, or it doesn't post.
Your rules, your files
Policies and team memory are plain files you can read, review and take with you.
Your code is not our data
Read-only access and no repository copies. Findings keep only the few lines they quote, and you can switch that off. Never used for training.
Honest about what's next
Every page says what is live, what is ready to connect, and what is still coming.
