Why compare
Four questions that separate AI reviewers.
Most tools now summarise a PR and leave inline comments. The differences that cost money, or let a bug through, sit in the details below.
Competitor details from their public pages, accessed 15 Oct 2026. Products change; tell us if something is out of date.
- 01
Do you know the price before it runs?
Usage pricing is fair until a busy week. Ask whether the price is shown on the PR before anything is spent, and whether there is a published rate card.
- 02
What happens at the limit?
A reviewer that stops at a spend limit leaves PRs unreviewed without saying so. Ask what the tool does when a cap or quota is reached.
- 03
Can a PR change its own review?
If review rules are read from the PR’s own branch, the change under review can rewrite them. Ask which branch the config comes from.
- 04
Can you choose how hard it reads?
Docs changes and payment code do not need the same scrutiny. Ask whether depth can follow the path, the branch and the repo, and what each level costs.
